Project Overview

Young Kato are a British six-piece indie pop band from Cheltenham, England.

I was asked to design their brand identity and associated visuals that represented the 80’s feel of their music

The logo used both their full name and an abbreviated ‘YK’, this was combined with sharp graphic devices puncturing youthful photography to illustrate the energy and attitude coming from the band’s recordings and live performances.
